Innovative and patented tripod design makes the BaySensor portable and easily deployed in different locations around the farm.
To deploy the BaySensor, simply extend the legs and place it on the ground. To pack up, drag unit forwards and the legs automatically fold in.
Built to stand up to use in harsh farming environments:
Multi-phase water sensor for reliable water presence detection. A surface water depth of approximately 1cm is all that is required to trigger detection.
Innovative tripod design allows for easy deployment in thick vegetation. There is no need to cut out or lay down vegetation to allow sensor to operate properly.
Locator light will flash when water has been detected, helping you to locate the BaySensor during night waterings. Locator light can also be activated via the TecaLink Cloud when required.
Designed to run on very low power. With ample solar charging capacity, there is no need to charge the BaySensor between deployments. It will operate for many days in low sunlight conditions.
Check battery charge and confirm network connectivity at the deployed location using the built-in display and menu system. Additionally, if network coverage is low then a test SMS can be sent from the BaySensor to confirm operational connectivity.
Notification preferences can be set for Water Presence, Low Battery, Network Disconnect and Predictive Watering Time. Notifications can be delivered in multiple ways:
Know the location and status of each of your BaySensors. Notification SMSs and emails include the map to help you locate the BaySensor that notified you.
Watering event history is recorded at each location allowing for prediction of expected watering times when deployed at the same location in future.
Each BaySensor is securely connected to the TecaLink Cloud platform allowing you to monitor and control your BaySensors from a Mobile Phone, Tablet, or PC. You are able to customise your BaySensors from the Cloud:
